My Harp

MY HARP

I hired a harp last half term because I'm learning how to play the harp.  It's a CAMAC harp made in France I hired it from the Clarsach Society (that means Scottish harp) and it is a butiful instroment.

I have learned to play London's Burning, Peal of Bells, Bobby Shaftow, Winster Galop and Ode to Joy (by Beethoven)

My teacher always says "Harpy fists! Harpy Thums!" Because it's its really important to keep your fingers down and thums up and I keep forgetting!

I am wearing my dead mouse hairband!!!  Ha Ha!

I love playing the harp and I want to be a harpist when I grow up.  Daddy says I can play it for brides coming into weddings if I get good and I'll make a fortune!!!

Getting my hair cut for Little Princess Trust

I decided to get my hair cut for the Little Princesses Trust

They make real hair wigs for children who have lost their hair. I came up with the idea when my friend had leukemia and she lost her hair and she got a wig made of somebody elses hair.
BEFORE......

My hair was really long we measured it and it was 8 and a half inches which is was supposed to be 7 inches so I cut it off at 8 and a half inches just to be sure.

I want to raise money too help them to pay for the wig and my target is £350. You can donate to this by going to https://www.justgiving.com/Ariel-Bingham

We went to Reflections the hairdressers on Saturday they washed and dried it and put it in pony tails.
GOING...

Going....

And then SNIP SNIP SNIP SNIP SNIP it off!

GONE!

Now I can send it in the post.
Then Lee washed my hair again and made it all fancy and pretty.

I ROCK MY NEW DO!

I swished my new hair in the wind at the Sele Park

I hope the little girl who gets my hair will really enjoy it.

My Dead Frog

One day when I went to Walltown I found a dead frog.
I decided to pick it up because I like dead stuff.  I put it in my sunglasses bag.

We got back to the car park and had hot chocolate.  Here is a picture of my little brother, Binglet 3

I decided to bring it to school one day in a Chinese take away box. The frog was dry and crumbly and brown.  Daddy made me though it out.

If I had kept it I could have looked at it in my microscop that I got for my birthday.  :-(

Farm Day

In the Easter holidays I went to a farm with some of our friends that had sheep, ponies and chicks.  We went in our campervan called Slow Loris because she is very slow.  Our friends had a BIG tent.  We cooked bacon sandwiches they were delishus.

We flew kites.

The farms owner came round with a pony called ANGEL she's AMAZING I got to ride on her and groom her and run around with her.

Stroking Angels nose it was very soft

The farmer came from the barn and said THERES A NEW BABY LAMB so we ran up to the barn. The sheep that had the lamb was licking a new baby lamb.

Then another 2 popped out of the sheeps BOTTOM.  And they were called Ariel, Ada and Violet.

It was THE BEST DAY EVER!

The day I made a cake

On Sunday I made a cake with my nabuer (*neighbour) friend who lives down our street. When we were at church we planned it. It was going to be a waterfall cake and a picnic. When we got back home we started making it.
We put in sugar milk eggs butter flour coco powder
Then we mixed it up in the mixing machine and we checked it and it was alright and then we brung the bowl over to the side then we put it into the cake tins.  There were 3.
Then we put them in the oven.
While the cakes were cooking we were doing the decorations

I did a crocodile
We did all sorts of decorations
We got the cakes out of the oven we put chocolate butter icing on top of 2 and put them on top of each other then we cut out a little shape for the water fall.  We started to ice it
This is what it looked like when it was finished

We wer very pleased.  We took it down the road to my nabeur lady's house and our other neighbours came round to EAT IT

It was scrmpshis.
YUM

300g self raising flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
6 tablespoons cocoa powder
6 eggs
335 g soft margarine
2 tablesoons dark brown sugar
