I decided to get my hair cut for the Little Princesses Trust.
They make real hair wigs for children who have lost their hair. I came up with the idea when my friend had leukemia and she lost her hair and she got a wig made of somebody elses hair.
BEFORE...... |
My hair was really long we measured it and it was 8 and a half inches which is was supposed to be 7 inches so I cut it off at 8 and a half inches just to be sure.
I want to raise money too help them to pay for the wig and my target is £350. You can donate to this by going to https://www.justgiving.com/Ariel-Bingham
We went to Reflections the hairdressers on Saturday they washed and dried it and put it in pony tails.

And then SNIP SNIP SNIP SNIP SNIP it off!
GONE! |
Now I can send it in the post.
Then Lee washed my hair again and made it all fancy and pretty.
I ROCK MY NEW DO!
I swished my new hair in the wind at the Sele Park
I hope the little girl who gets my hair will really enjoy it.
What a fantastic thing to do. Another girl is going to feel very special and lucky. I bet your mum and dad are very proud.
ReplyDeleteWell done, Ariel, what a lovely, thoughtful thing to do! And I'm so pleased to see that you've rocketed through your fundraising total too!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great thing that you did. The hair you donated can help another person feel good about themselves, despite the problems that they might be dealing with at the moment. And there are a lot of styles that you can go for with a slightly shorter hair. So, I’d say the whole thing is a big win-win! Cheers!
