My Harp

MY HARP

I hired a harp last half term because I'm learning how to play the harp.  It's a CAMAC harp made in France I hired it from the Clarsach Society (that means Scottish harp) and it is a butiful instroment.

I have learned to play London's Burning, Peal of Bells, Bobby Shaftow, Winster Galop and Ode to Joy (by Beethoven)

My teacher always says "Harpy fists! Harpy Thums!" Because it's its really important to keep your fingers down and thums up and I keep forgetting!

I am wearing my dead mouse hairband!!!  Ha Ha!

I love playing the harp and I want to be a harpist when I grow up.  Daddy says I can play it for brides coming into weddings if I get good and I'll make a fortune!!!

Getting my hair cut for Little Princess Trust

I decided to get my hair cut for the Little Princesses Trust

They make real hair wigs for children who have lost their hair. I came up with the idea when my friend had leukemia and she lost her hair and she got a wig made of somebody elses hair.
BEFORE......

My hair was really long we measured it and it was 8 and a half inches which is was supposed to be 7 inches so I cut it off at 8 and a half inches just to be sure.

I want to raise money too help them to pay for the wig and my target is £350. You can donate to this by going to https://www.justgiving.com/Ariel-Bingham

We went to Reflections the hairdressers on Saturday they washed and dried it and put it in pony tails.
GOING...

Going....

And then SNIP SNIP SNIP SNIP SNIP it off!

GONE!

Now I can send it in the post.
Then Lee washed my hair again and made it all fancy and pretty.

I ROCK MY NEW DO!

I swished my new hair in the wind at the Sele Park

I hope the little girl who gets my hair will really enjoy it.
